We are about to put 2020 behind and move on to 2021. And as we do I’m going to jot down some of my thoughts – of the year that was and the year that is to become.
OK, so this is nothing new – I have done this for most other New Year’s Eve. But this year does feel different.

I was awake (kinda long story) and trying to fall asleep. Stumbled on “burn notice” and when I was still not sleepy had to look for something else that was not really on my watch list.
The best part was that it was not your usual RomCom. The next interesting thing was the reference to

There is nothing I can say about him that would not be something I heard somewhere else. But I was reminded that he died 40 years ago today. Which reminded me – I don’t recall a time when I learned of his death. As I think about it, it seems that I have always known of his death. But that it happened in 1980 – somehow is making me wonder how or why I don’t recall learning / hearing the news.

What has to be true for us to accept that we are deeply divided?
I don’t accept that 75 million votes for a candidate and 80 million for another is the measure.
