Crash Landing on You
It popped up on my recommended list and I started playing it without much thought.
Quotes:
- Fortunes and misfortune are like twisted rope, so they come by turns. Everything will be fine soon. – Jeong Hyeok to Se-Ri – Episode 3
- Sometimes the wrong train takes you to the right station. – Se-Ri to Jeong Hyeok – Episode 5

- Three type of ppl you should never forget. Ppl who help you when you are stuck. Ppl who leave you alone when you are stuck. Ppl who cornered you into that situation. – Se-Ri – Episode 11

Song(s)
When the cold wind blows
Just know that I have left
The fleeting breeze
Carries away only my yearning for you.
When the leaves fall
Just know that I have left
the falling leaves
Will only carry our memories together
When the cold wind blows
You will be lonely
Even so, do not
Think about me any more
One time
Your warm gaze
Brought butterflies
To my young heart
What is Love
Hoping that you are worrying about me as I am for you, and wishing you are pining for me as I do for you.
Is this Love?
Or,
Is it that you are not worrying about me, that you will forget about me and the moments we have shared.
Is this Love?
Or if neither, is it
That I am willing to go thru everything from the very beginning just so that I can meet you again?

Modern Love
I didn’t binge watch. If anything I took forever after I started to watch the very first episode a while back to re-start watching it. Eventually I watched the last 7 episodes in about a couple of weeks. The very last 2 episodes I watched in the same night.
I loved the different characters / story in each of the episodes. They were each their own independent story but at the same time they were thread together somehow.

100 Humans
I am sure this is only scratching the surface but it is definitely scratching an interesting surface. I often want them to dig deeper into the topics than they do which leaves me a bit disappointed. Which kinda tells me that they are at least talking about issues that I find interesting.

Plan Coeur
Watched all 8 episodes of the 1, and only, season in one session.

YouTubeTV vs HULU
As part of the whole “cutting the chord” philosophy, I am always intrigued by the idea of a new way of getting services I am used to getting in the old traditional method.
Though I have subscriptions for Netflix, HULU and HBO, I still continue to have

Reductio ad Absurdum
Hear the term on Big Bang Theory a while back and it, like many many other terms I’ve heard on BBT, have stuck on my mind and have always meant to go back.
I do like the term as a interesting way of arguing. Often we are passive of our views / opinions because the counter argument is not drastic enough. But if we confronted with the extremes, even the absurd extremes, then we will stand up to support our views.

Godless
I was listening to the Fresh Air show where Terry Gross was interviewing the director Scott Frank. But ti was really the poem that got to me.

Game of Thrones
Finally started to watch and since I had 7 whole seasons to catch up – I did what any unreasonable person would do. I powered thru 6 seasons (that is 60+ episodes) in about 4 weeks. Which leaves me Season 7 and then I should be caught up.
I do think I should mention that though I had tried, half heartedly, to watch the series in the past, I have put it off because I told myself that I wanted to read the book(s) first. But I never really made any effort to find the book(s). That probably says something 😦 But this time around a lot of my friends really got into the whole #GoT discussion and I was having a hard time avoiding it. If I am not going to be able to avoid it, I figured I ought to watch it so as to be able to comment / participate in the discussion.
Also, there was a mention of Ed Sheeran being in there.
