After both sign an agreement with a company that offers to end their lives when they least expect it, a dejected millionaire and a disheartened young woman fall in love and have to find a way to get out of their binding contracts.
With a tag line like above, how was I supposed to start watching it. As I did, I realized that it was a foreign film and not the usual French or Italian or German or East European but Dutch. I don’t recall another Dutch movie that I have watched before.
I didn’t binge watch. If anything I took forever after I started to watch the very first episode a while back to re-start watching it. Eventually I watched the last 7 episodes in about a couple of weeks. The very last 2 episodes I watched in the same night.
I loved the different characters / story in each of the episodes. They were each their own independent story but at the same time they were thread together somehow.
Feb 10th, ’18 – Finally watched it on my Apple TV via Amazon Prime Video. It’s actually funny, because I was looking for a different movie, Khaad, that my friend had suggested and searching for it lead to no success I fell back to re-watch Moonstruck and after finishing it I was just browsing and stumbled.
