So, what do you want to do when you grown up?

I remember this being asked of me, and most other kids around me when I was growing up. Back then “when you grow up” was fairly well defined, or so I thought. Only as I have been growing up have I realized, continue to realize, that I am not quite done growing up. Not even sure I ever will.

But even while I am not done growing up, I am no longer a child or a young adult. I can’t be either of these because I am parent to 2 individuals who are probably young adults.

I have not watched a more moving / touching movie in a very very long time. A very gentle reminder of how mis guided, mis-placed, are our priorities.

Oct 20th, ’23 – finally found it on Netflix and also on Apple TV for Rent or Buy. Began watching on Netflix. But had to pause and go to bed.

Oct 21st, ’23 – Bit the bullet and purchased on Apple TV. It is now in my collection of movies. I still plan to finish watching on Netflix and maybe even Download on my non-apple device. Just so I have it ni my finger tips.
