There is nothing I can say about him that would not be something I heard somewhere else. But I was reminded that he died 40 years ago today. Which reminded me – I don’t recall a time when I learned of his death. As I think about it, it seems that I have always known of his death. But that it happened in 1980 – somehow is making me wonder how or why I don’t recall learning / hearing the news.
