What has to be true for us to accept that we are deeply divided?
I don’t accept that 75 million votes for a candidate and 80 million for another is the measure.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are now projected by many of the news medias as the winner of the 20 Electoral Votes of the Common Wealth of Pennsylvania. And with that giving him the 273 Electoral Votes (279 by some counts) and the Win for the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. As someone with left of center political views I am excited by this news.
The fact that Biden might end up winning with more than 75 million votes cast in his favor is definitely something that I will looking at for a long time with great pride.
The fact that his opponent got north of 70 million votes in his favor is not something that I can, or will, ignore.

Last time I wrote about the US Election, it was about the 2016 US Presidential Election and it was focused more on the presidential election process. And it looks like I stopped writing / updating it on Oct 23rd. Wonder why I didn’t continue thru the end . . . .
Anyway, this time around I am writing, or at least I am starting to write, on the over all Election. I feel we have come to a point where we as individuals have to take some ownership in this whole political system. We have become so used to saying “it’s a broken system” without looking at what I can do about making this less broken.
