It really is funny how one seems “more” than the other.
I noticed this when I saw both on the same menu. The menu was describing 2 burgers that the restaurant offered (amongst other items). For the more basic choice it was 8oz and the more fancy offering (which came with sauted onions and mushroom etc) it was half pound of beef.
Of course, the more basic one was under $6 and the half pound one was $7.99 ;o)

It was my first time working at a hardware company. We actually made the camera and the recording unit that went with the camera. Made all the firmware and also the software.
I forget exactly how large it was when I joined, but it had grown to about 150 but later had to slim down to about 70. Eventually about a 30 of us were acquired first by GE and then sold off to UTC.

Another Pixar presentation. Just like Shrek and Finding Nemo, this is also quite well made with a good [new] plot.
Unfortunately, it has all the signs of a sequel in the making :o(

I simply loved this movie. It’s definitely a little weird (the making of the movie) but that’s what made it so special.
The very last scene was one of the best scenes I’ve ever seen.

Saw the 3 movies over a couple of weeks. “American Splendar” was playing on HBO and I never got to watch the whole movie from start to finish. “Big Fish” and “Spotless Mind” we rented and watched fairly late.

Maybe I should call this “Man vs Woman” but I really want to keep this away from being comparative.
The other day my friend (he’s a psychiatrist) was saying how Man and Woman differ. For example, in a breakup – a woman will have a bigger crisis before the actual event. Once the breakup happens she will “move on” faster / better than the man. The longer a man is in a relationship the more dependent he becomes on his SO – without realizing it.
Of course I got this from my friend and never really looked into it or asked him where I could get more info. By the way, it has now been almost 15 years and I don’t even recall who this friend of mine was 😦
But let’s assume that my friend was right, does it then imply that the woman is the stronger sex because she is able to move on from one to the next faster?

P.S. I have kept the original post below just to give me a reference of where I started.

The longer a man is in a relationship the more dependent he becomes on his SO – without realizing it.
So, the question really becomes – who is the stronger sex? The above quote is valid only if we assume Man to be the stronger sex. But if my friend is right, then we have to declare Woman to be the stronger sex.

The other day I heard someone on TV (or may the radio) mention that we all have 3 “person” in each of us.
This got me thinking. Who am I?
Chronologically, I am a:
Also, in no particular order, I am a:
I can’t speak of what other’s think of me (I do know what some people think of me, but I think I would really like to know more), but I do know (at least at this time) that I would like to become
In each of these identity / role I have certain expectation of myself as does others of me. That’s where my duties and responsibilities are assigned.

The recent election has made “Moral Values” a huge issue and it got me thinking – what are my “Moral Values”? I mean, I believe I am a fairly moral person, why don’t I think the same way these voters do? What’s wrong with me?

George W Bush wins the presidency for the second term.
In his acceptence speech President George W. Bush mentioned that he wants to do his best to reach to the other side (people who voted for Sen. John Kerry) to bring the nation closer. He also mention that we were one nation with one Constitution bound together with one future1.
Also, in the same election, the Repulicans have gained a few seats in the Senate. They now have 55, the Democrats 44 and there is 1 indipendent.
