Book to Film

Saw a tweet the other day from “Focus Features” about #NationalBookLoversDay with the question – “What is your favorite book to film adaption?” My immediate response was, LOTR, Hobbit, Godfather and The Princess Bride.

But of course I immediately realized that can’t be all. So the search begins.

Top 10 Books

I find coming up with a “Top of 10” anything to be too fluid. Soon as I come up with the list I will remember something that I will have left out. Anyway, this is my current Top 10 books (which will probably change fairly soon).

  1. নুলিয়াছড়ির সোনার পাহাড়
  2. The GodfatherMario Puzo

Books on My Wishlist

Here are some books that I am meaning to read at some point. I also have a similar (and a bit more comprehensive) list on goodreads. Not sure if you are going to be able to view my list without an account. Though the account is free, not sure you will want to register for it.

  • The Blood Telegram – Random House
  • Islam without Extremes by Mustafa – Amazon
    • Learned about this on Fareed Zakaria GPS
  • The Reason I Jump – Amazon
