A very randomly started watching the first episode last evening and kinda got hooked on the way the episode was progressing. But then towrds the end of the episode Ted Danson stands and recites All the World’s a Stage.

Didn’t quite binge watch but did watch all 10 episodes in less, or maybe about, a week. Pretty well made.

I heard something about the show earlier while I was driving and as I was prep’ing for dinner just started to look it up. As I was doing so, I found another movie, Living, that I have been wanting to watch again.
As I added Living to my watchlist, I put this to play. I had very little idea of what exactly to expect. Earlier what I recall from having heard on the radio was that it was a documentary on people in different parts where they were living much longer and more vibrant lives. How can you pass on learning more . . . .
The show begins with the disclaimer that it is for entertainment and, I forget exactly the term they used but it was in the line of, “informative” only. Anyone making any serious life choices should be talking / discussing with the health care specialist before making any decisions. That to me was a good sign. A very good sign indeed.
Needless to say, I watched all the episodes in a single stretch. It is very well made indeed.
But I wonder . . . . . is the goal to live a long and vibrant life? How long we live is not really something that we control. But let’s say we were able to control how long we live – would we want to live to be 200? Maybe. But I feel if we were to live to be 200, “living” would take on a completely different idea.

It popped up on my recommended list and I started playing it without much thought.
Quotes:
Song(s)
When the cold wind blows
Just know that I have left
The fleeting breeze
Carries away only my yearning for you.
When the leaves fall
Just know that I have left
the falling leaves
Will only carry our memories together
When the cold wind blows
You will be lonely
Even so, do not
Think about me any more
One time
Your warm gaze
Brought butterflies
To my young heart
What is Love
Hoping that you are worrying about me as I am for you, and wishing you are pining for me as I do for you.
Is this Love?
Or,
Is it that you are not worrying about me, that you will forget about me and the moments we have shared.
Is this Love?
Or if neither, is it
That I am willing to go thru everything from the very beginning just so that I can meet you again?

I didn’t binge watch. If anything I took forever after I started to watch the very first episode a while back to re-start watching it. Eventually I watched the last 7 episodes in about a couple of weeks. The very last 2 episodes I watched in the same night.
I loved the different characters / story in each of the episodes. They were each their own independent story but at the same time they were thread together somehow.

I am sure this is only scratching the surface but it is definitely scratching an interesting surface. I often want them to dig deeper into the topics than they do which leaves me a bit disappointed. Which kinda tells me that they are at least talking about issues that I find interesting.

Watched all 8 episodes of the 1, and only, season in one session.

As part of the whole “cutting the chord” philosophy, I am always intrigued by the idea of a new way of getting services I am used to getting in the old traditional method.
Though I have subscriptions for Netflix, HULU and HBO, I still continue to have
