Learn Something
I am quite surprised that I have not made a note of this sooner. I remember the first time I watched The Blind Side and that quote kinda sticking out for me. It even became a thing I said to my girls as I would drop them off at school in the morning.
But it was more than just a quote I heard and liked. It really resonated with me somehow. In a way that I didn’t even realize right away.

I have always known this as the Nike tag line. I just learned from the radio that it was a quote by Gary Gilmore when he was on the firing squad.
Another example of learning something new at a completely unexpected situation.

The Proposal
I know I am being a bit generous in my rating, but I am reminded that it is a Rom-Con. It never pretended to be anything else. That honesty itself is worth recognition.
Also, I realized again that I am a fan of Ryan Reynolds. I’ve always been a fan of Sandra Bullock and she sealed it completely with The Blind Side.

Photos App
I will start off with the positive – I very much like the “Photos” app on the iPhone and also on the Mac. I have been using it as my primary tool to manage my 200K+ images. It took me a while to realize that not all my updates and changes are actually pushed and sync’d all the way immediately.
For example, when I add a new pix to my album, that actually does seem to get propagated all the thru almost immediately. Even some of the metadata, i.e., Geo Location, Key words etc are also saved and pushed almost immediately. Where this does not seem to happen is in the case of defining / identifying a face.
