If you’ve been on social media, this may have happened to you or someone you know. This is not new. I have never really felt like talking, i.e., writing, about this in the past. But I am “writing” today mostly to document how I am responding to learning about this happening to one of my friends this morning.

Not quite immediately, but I did update my password, which I should be doing more frequently anyway. But I did notice the notification I got that my password was updated. And in that notice, email, I did notice a button to cick if I had not made the update / change. This is something that I had seen many other times but this made me think – when my friends’ account(s) were compromised they may also have had gotten similar notice(s) but probably got ignored 😦
