Re-watching Northern Exposure
I have been re-watching Northern Exposure, among many other old series, and it has been simply a pleasure. I was a fan of the series when I first watched it back in amy school days but I don’t think I enjoyed it as much back then as I do now. It is very possible I forgot just how much I enjoyed it back then.

Serendipity
I had not a whole lot to do and was browsing. Had randomly stumbled on Prime Video and while scrolling saw the title and John Cusack.

Getting to Know You
No idea why I started to watch it. Saw The Saint in my suggestion list but it was not free and this just happened to be one of the next ones. The short description was somewhat interesting:
When his drunken ex-girlfriend won’t leave him alone, a man asks a married woman staying at the same hotel to pretend to be his . . .
Very cheesy, but I don’t think they were trying to avoid that. If you can look past the cheesy, it is pretty well made. Definitely enjoyed watching – around midnight.

De surprise
After both sign an agreement with a company that offers to end their lives when they least expect it, a dejected millionaire and a disheartened young woman fall in love and have to find a way to get out of their binding contracts.
With a tag line like above, how was I supposed to start watching it. As I did, I realized that it was a foreign film and not the usual French or Italian or German or East European but Dutch. I don’t recall another Dutch movie that I have watched before.

Modern Love
I didn’t binge watch. If anything I took forever after I started to watch the very first episode a while back to re-start watching it. Eventually I watched the last 7 episodes in about a couple of weeks. The very last 2 episodes I watched in the same night.
I loved the different characters / story in each of the episodes. They were each their own independent story but at the same time they were thread together somehow.
