Waiting in line at Walgreens
Sunday evening around 9:30 I am waiting to line at the Walgreens pharmacy and for some reason there is simply a log of people waiting in front of me. Just ahead of me is this man with his 2 daughters.
The younger of the 2 girls, who I thought was about 6 but turns out was actually 7, was doing cart wheels. She simply could not stop herself. The older sister, who I thought was 8 or 9 was actually 10, was being quite reserved. Not only in comparison to her younger sibling but just in general. And the reason was fairly visible – she seemed to have done something to her hand / finger to require a metal brace.

So, first – you need a “flickr” account. Which you have. Check
Second, I need to add you as a “friend” in “flickr”. Done, Check.
Now to download:
- Find / select the pix you want to download
- Right below the pix, to the right, there are a set of 4 icons
- Star – “Fave this Photo”
- Right Arrow – “Share Photo”
- Arrow pointing down – “Download this Photo” – this is the one you want to click
- Expand –
- Once you click on the “Download this Photo” icon, you will see a few size options and “View all sizes” as the last option
- Select “View all sizes”
- The second option will be to “Download”. But before you choose to download, be sure that you select the proper size / resolution you want. I would choose the highest, but you can choose any you want.
- Once you have the right resolution selected, click on the link next to “Download” and it will be downloaded and saved in your “Download” folder (on your computer)
- The file name is usually a long string, which is not really relevant but something you may want to change once download is complete.
BTW, these are steps for downloading on your desktop / laptop using a browser. Not sure how to do this on your phone or tablet 😦 Hope this helps. If you have any trouble, make sure that you are log’d into flickr. If you see that you are log’d in and still unable to download – let me know.

Game of Thrones
Finally started to watch and since I had 7 whole seasons to catch up – I did what any unreasonable person would do. I powered thru 6 seasons (that is 60+ episodes) in about 4 weeks. Which leaves me Season 7 and then I should be caught up.
I do think I should mention that though I had tried, half heartedly, to watch the series in the past, I have put it off because I told myself that I wanted to read the book(s) first. But I never really made any effort to find the book(s). That probably says something 😦 But this time around a lot of my friends really got into the whole #GoT discussion and I was having a hard time avoiding it. If I am not going to be able to avoid it, I figured I ought to watch it so as to be able to comment / participate in the discussion.
Also, there was a mention of Ed Sheeran being in there.

Friendship
Friendship is a relationship between 2, or more, individuals that is more than just that of being acquaintance. The “more” is of course relative and unique. While we all experience many friendships over our lifetime, we most often fail to realize, recognize or appreciate these friendships or the friends.
I consider myself to be very, very fortunate to have had experienced several friendships over the years. One of the strongest of these were one that I formed just before my teens. While the bond may not be as strong at this very moment, but that is more a reflection of life having taken us in different paths.
