épicerie

My friend said they had good pancakes but they only have them on Sundays. Will definitely have to try their other items another time. In addition to the Pancakes we also had the Eggs Benedict, Granola & Yogurt, Coffee and also an order of Beignets. Everything was really good though a bit on the more expensive side – our breakfast for 4 with a latte and a regular coffee came to about $55.

Not sure why but I was expecting there to be a little wait but we got our table immediately. Service was quite prompt and very courteous.

Though a bit out-of-the-way for me, I am definitely going to try to try this place a few more times sooner rather than wait.

In recent weeks we have had the missing Malaysian Airlines airplane, the conflicts in Syria, Ukraine, Gaza that took over the news media (deservedly) but they all fell off the radar (or so it seems to me) without any of them really coming to a real resolution. There is this notion that we all need closure. But apparently we were, are, OK without such closure for these issues.

I want to try to follow, at least for the next few weeks, Headlines and how or when the stop being in the headlines.

High Mileage Automobiles

Sure – the term “High Mileage” is relative – but I am thinking in terms of cars that are on the roads today in my area. Most of them, I believe, get somewhere between 14 and low 20s mpg. High Mileage in this respect would be something in the range of high 40 mpg or above.

Of course, if we move our criteria from conventional cars to hybrids and pure electric (or other alternative) power than the mileage becomes irrelevant.
