Schools Starting 2 Hour Late
Both RRISD and LISD have already announced that school will be starting 2 hour late tomorrow (Thursday). Interestingly enough, I don’t think there is supposed to be bad road condition.

Yet Another Nasty Winter Morning
The overnight lows dropped to the mid~low 20s and make it interesting – there has been just enough “rain” to make the roads bad. Some schools are on a 2 hr delay and others have totally closed for the day.

Snow / Ice in Austin
The temps went from being as high as 81F on Tuesday to 39F for the high on Friday. The overnight low of mid 20s caused a lot of the roads to be covered in sleet. Schools were initially going to be opening 2 hours later but eventually closed all together. Don’t believe any of the offices were actually closed but most allowed their employees to come in later or work from home.
Interestingly enough the weekend looks to be very nice with clear sky and highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Early part of next week looks to be pretty bad – again 😦 With highs in the 40s.

Whole Foods Market at the Domain
It is finally happening. Whole Foods Market at the Domain is opening tomorrow, Wednesday January 15th. I am even more excited that the Gateway location is NOT closing down – which is what I thought was going to be happening.

A Gorgeous Day
It’s simply a most beautiful day. Clear sky, crisp air, temperatures varying between mid 60s and very low 40s. As I am writing this it’s about 54F.
